How long do lash extensions last?
Lash extensions typically last 4–6 weeks with proper care. Because your natural lashes continuously shed a few at a time, a fill every 2–3 weeks is recommended to keep the set looking full.
What’s the difference between wispy classic and wispy volume lashes?
Wispy classic applies one extension per natural lash for a soft, fluttery look. Wispy volume uses handmade fans of several finer extensions per natural lash for more density and texture. Both can be styled as doll eye, cat eye, or kitten eye depending on your eye shape.
What is brow lamination, and how long does it last?
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that reshapes the brow hairs into a fuller, brushed-up style. At UKIYO Beauty Studio, lamination is always paired with mapping, waxing, shaping, and an optional tint. Results last 4–6 weeks.
How should I prepare for my first lash appointment?
Come with clean lashes. Skip mascara, eye makeup, and oil-based skincare around the eyes, and plan to lie still for roughly two hours. If you’ve never had lash extensions before, a complimentary patch test is recommended to check for sensitivity to the adhesive.
Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
Mascara is not recommended with classic or volume sets. Regular mascara, waterproof mascara, and oil-based makeup removers break down the adhesive and shorten the life of your set. Lash extensions are designed to replace mascara in your daily routine.
When should I book a fill versus a full set?
Book a Lash Fill ($90) within 2–3 weeks of your last appointment, as long as at least 40% of your previous extensions remain. Past that point, or if your set has fully grown out, a Full Set ($110) is the right choice.
